The wait continues for pups

Mother nature has a perfect plan and I am at the grace of it as I sit back and practice my patience. No pups yet around here so we enjoy every moment of this glorious sunshine we've been having soaking up every minute before being kicked into high gear. The mamas are happy and content resting a lot but all smiles most of the time. It's only when Anya or Neema pull on their ears that they flash the kids that look of annoyance.

With Meiko being a couple of days past her due date now I completely understand the feeling of being done! She's got a whole bushel of babes that I hope for her sake show up any minute, even though this morning she still did not have that tell tale temp drop.

She asks for love but requests for me to be gentle on her extruding belly. Lots of resting continues and since the sunshine today is going to be merciless, probably more time inside in her cool house is going to take place and be much appreciated.

I don't think Isla has quite as many pups as Meiko does and it's evident in the way she carries herself. Beautiful regal Isla resting like a queen but fully content with her glowing belly self. Crossing my fingers Meiko doesn't run into Isla's due date of Thurs. and these 2 mamas give me at least a day or 2 turn around time to rest and recover as usually births are a full 24+ hr. event with me being up. The anticipation is looming!

Leia is a wee thing and holds her pups up high but she also has another 10+ days to go before her pups show up so there is still growth to be had in this last home stretch. For example look at how much Meiko grew in the last 14 days and even the last 3 days!

Here's happy little Leia loving life and looking like a million bucks. Such a sweet girl.

Anya continues to be completely obsessed with the hose so much that I have to be very careful about even moving the hose to water my nearby gardens as she starts to bark like mad to get me to soak her down. Such a sweet calm little girl that turns into this water crazed hose fanatic in a matter of seconds. My Sola girl (retiree) was and is still obsessed with the hose as well so I'm tickled pink to have this game back in the mix.

Her and Neema her looking SO similar these days (half sisters) that it's difficult to tell them apart now when they are in a rumble. Anya is now 7.5 mths. but Neema turns 1 on Sat. Both Gorgeous kids that are growing up and filling out exactly as I had hoped.

and looking as dapper as ever...dear sweet Tonka. Over looking everything is his calm and collected way. He's so hard to get photos of as the second I look in his direction he's crawling into my lap. Hence why he's not in a lot of the other photos. He's the best they come really. I couldn't have asked for a better boy.

Those of you that I have shared upcoming due dates with, the 4 & 6 wk. visit dates and pick up window of time, for planning and looking ahead just tack on a couple extra days onto each of these dates according to when you hear from me next when these pups actually arrive. I'll post on my social platforms first whenever these pups arrive but of course I will announce here as well next week. For those that are expecting these pups I hope to connect with you very soon about their arrival!!
