Rooted in the simple presence of goldens

The art of simple being with a golden is the gentle reminder that life need not rush. It is presence without words, no distractions, just a quiet bond where nothing is asked for and everything is given.

It doesn't require training sessions, adventures, or even words. It is found in the stillness-sitting together, listening to their steady breathing at your feet, or watching the way their eyes soften when they meet yours. Dogs invite us into the present moment. They remind us that love doesn't always need expression, that slow, calm companionship can be enough all on its own. To simply be with a dog is to experience peace in its purest form.

I have written about this quiet magical act of just being in the presence of my dogs before but once again I find myself soaking up every moment I spend with them as we currently are on 'cruise control' around here. No hustle and bustle of babies, no breedings or incoming dogs. Always improvements on the horizon on small scales and bigger scales but day to day right now we simply are enjoying 'being' and loving life.

Hanging out in the sunshine, basking in the silence, laying around, near, beside and on each other. What better place to be, other than beside and ON your pack!

My quiet small pack of 5 slows to a peaceful pace finding their own niche and path in the way they hold space here. Oozing the best of energy onto anyone who comes into proximity to them.

Tonka owning his space but not even realizing it as his happy smiley self. He's incredible at checking in with all his girls to make sure everyone is content and balanced at all times. He brings peace and an irresistible presence to everyone around him.

The girls, Isla, Leia, Neema and Anya bounce off each other figuratively and literally every second and couldn't construct their days I'm sure without each other. Their magic not works on me and everyone else around them but on each other as well.

So even though there isn't a big chapter to share with you this week, know without a doubt that what's ahead for so many of you is magic in the making.. little by little.. creating moments between them and life blessing each one for what's ahead makes the future even more special.
