Pawsitively Preparing for the Holiday Season

The holiday season is definitely upon us! Everywhere I go now Christmas has sneezed in all its glory all over everything! Elves peeking around corners, snowflakes dangle from every light pole, jingle bells and Santa Claus is coming to town plays in my head long after I leave every store. Families make plans, decorate their trees and stringing cranberries and popcorn on endless strings. It's simply the best time of the year.. now bring on the snow!
My dogs dart out in the darkness of the mornings looking for snow to play in but are welcomed by continuous rain that is relentless in this state. We do our best with running and romping around without getting drenched to the bone. Heaters get cracked up, dehumidifies run on high and towels get cycled. Smiles never leave their faces though. My rock solid joy makers never cease to amaze me. Everything is 'the best thing ever'. We chat about the snow we had last year and oh what fun that was! We prance under the falling rain but do our snow dance in hopes for a white Christmas.
Everyone here is happy healthy and snuggly as ever bringing everything wonderful to each and everyday. Tonka tries to climb into my lap still to this day at every chance he gets. Such a love!
Isla is content, calm and brings peace and spreads this energy to anyone that comes in her bubble.
Leia oozes with sweetness and a soul searching pull in her eyes that is extraordinary.
Neema creeps under my hand one second asking for love and then the next is asking me to throw her ball. She's the light of every party and brings the perfect balance to my days.
Anya is my steadfast grounder. Still, centered, aware and thoughtful. Sits on my feet quietly transferring energy without even knowing it.
As a whole I've never had a more united pack that is so in tune with each other, aware of needs, wishes, requests and boundaries.
They have grown incredibly close so I'm preparing myself for all my girls to sync up once again this time round. Of course I have on going chats with them putting out kind requests to space their pups out ahead a couple of months ahead. The thought of a litter or 2 being closer to summer than spring is also enticing to many families on board. We are within our timeframe of preparing for the next chapters around here but are perfectly content with a bit of a delay at least from a girl or 2! Only so much you can do with mother natures timing but we put in all the good energy we can to align the stars and the moon the best we can for everyone on board. Not sure how much influence I have over the stars and the moon though! I am always incredibly grateful for however nature plays out and decides to lay it's path. Health and happiness for my whole pack is the only thing that matters in the end.
All of us here send our very best holiday cheer your way as you hang your stockings, string your lights and prep for the most wonderful time of year ahead. Love to all my young'n pups out there going into their 1st Christmas's with their new families. Try your very best to be good! Leave the tree alone and stay out of the kitchen for your own safety! Give extra snuggles to the ones that need it the most and entertain for those that love it the best. Spread happiness to everyone you can and give kisses to everyone that visits your home. May the weeks ahead be filled with a few extra treats and extra love from all. 🎄❄🎅
