Nursery Prep

From top to bottom, wall to wall, inside outside and everything in between, we prep for babies. Spring/puppy prep cleaning is at it's all time highest. Walls get scrubbed, nursery boxes and panels get washed, rewashed and sanitized. We are in the thick of organizing, constructing, setting up, and tucking in corners just right. Drawers are stocked with neonate supplies, mama supportive care and everything that we'll need for what's ahead. Mamas get fed extra and doted on at every waking moment. Everything is currently on it's head but in the best way possible. Transition from the winter months without babies, to the springtime months to prepping and preparing for newborns takes time but we are almost there and in the final stretch. In a few more days our nurseries will be cozified so the final week mamas can just relax and nest in their whelping spaces. Isla is getting bigger and bigger by the day and now little Leia isn't so little anymore as she joins her with her glowing belly bump mama figure.

The sunshine was glorious this morning but the frost was still a bit daunting. Looking forward to longer days and warmer hours.

The dogs aren't phased in the slightest with the cool mornings. They romp and play year round not having a care in the world about the weather. They do love a good sunbath but they also love a good snow bath as well. Not sure the snow that is on the forecast for this week will actually show up but I'm crossing my fingers! Crocus's and rhubarb are already making their appearance so we'll see what happens!

Love came in from all angles from past pups wishing up all well and sending their best of wishes for a safe and smooth arrival of pups soon.

I am going to run and continue to utilize this gorgeous day to keep working on our nursery prep. I don't have photos yet to post of our nurseries as I'm currently in the middle of it all but by next week the energy in the air of our set up will have settled and I'll have more to share with you all.
