Life is Cruising Along Beautifully

Summer has officially settled in here at the Homestead, and life is cruising along beautifully. It is simply my personal haven I cannot describe.

After a stretch of extreme heat, the long-awaited rain finally arrived, and what a welcome blessing it was. The dogs soaked up every bit of it—quite literally! They spent hours outside enjoying both the sunshine and the pouring down rain, completely content no matter what the weather brought. 

One of the many thing’s dogs teach us so well is how to live and love every second of our days. I know I’ve said this many times before, but it’s SO true so I say it again! They don't worry about tomorrow or dwell on yesterday. They simply embrace the gift of today, and I think there's something truly beautiful about that.

Watching them run, romp, rough house, lounge in the sun, and bask in whatever the day offers is a wonderful reminder to slow down and appreciate life's simple joys. 

Their happiness is contagious, and my heart is full knowing that every one of them is healthy, thriving, and living their very best lives.

Our sweet Noni is contentedly baking her little ones, and we are all patiently waiting for the next exciting milestone.

If all goes according to plan, we'll attempt an ultrasound next weekend. It may still be a touch early, but I'm hopeful we'll catch a glimpse of some tiny peanuts growing away in there. The anticipation is always part of the journey, and every day brings us one step closer.

I continue to feel incredibly blessed and grateful for the wonderful families who have joined our waiting list, eagerly anticipating the perfect new addition to their homes. Your patience, excitement, and trust in my program mean more than words can express. Knowing these future puppies already have loving homes waiting for them is one of the greatest rewards of all.

It truly won't be long now. Time has a way of flying by way faster than we realize, and before we know it, another incredible chapter will begin. Until then, the wait continues, and we savor every moment along the way.

I hope each and every one of you are enjoying your summer plans, making memories with the people and fur friends you love most. Here's to sunshine, down pouring rain, future chapters, happy healthy dogs, growing peanuts and anticipating peanuts and all the blessings this season brings.
