Last stages of pregnancy countdown!

Bellies are all over the very obvious map at this point and even though wee Leia is still pretty small she has completely lost her waist line and is thick in all areas. She continues with her look of 'oh no what's ahead' but as soon as I reassure her that she is going to adore what's ahead, she instantly softens and leans right into my leg and grows roots. She's content, peaceful, and ok with pretty much anything.

Meiko gets even bigger by the day and the moment I don't think she get any bigger for the day, I blink and she's grown another inch. Her last litters have had 9 and 10 pups so I have no doubt she is going to match or even surpass that this time round.

Isla is perfectly balanced in handling this pregnancy. Sweet, happy but also not phased by much. Under my hand one moment and then peacefully sunning the next.

All 3 of my girls are very much spot on with their behavior and growth. I couldn't be anymore thrilled.

A couple of extra things filled my plate today delaying everything in my path but plans aligned and everything and everyone is exactly where it/they should be.

Here's the Meiko belly bump....

and darling Isla... Getting as close to my phone as possible to get up close and as personal as possible. Wouldn't be a golden without this trait!

My Sweet little Leia, completely lost her waist line this week and is pulling off the chubby look perfectly. Her peanuts are looking bigger and more bouncy everyday on the ultrasound screen. I can't wait to meet these pups!

We are in the home stretch now and things will shift for me in my prep work in the week ahead. All my supplies in 3's are set and ready. The nurseries will be constructed this week, whelping pens will be set up and areas will be curtained and cozied. Blankets will be tucked into every corner, labeled collars will be set out, and areas will be calmed getting ready for 'nesting'

Tonka and Neema will be moved out into the secondary house and pen to keep the energy in the nurseries to a peaceful low. They will be invited in eventually but will need to give the mamas their space for awhile.

Neema is such a kid and cracks me up daily. Her new thing for this week is to steal Leia's fire hydrant 'binkie' toy. She grabs it and runs off doing a full blown victory lap with it. Leia just looks at her knowing full well that's it's too much work to get up off the ground to chase her. Nobody else goes after her and she gets her way every time.

Her coat is starting to change more this week and coming in with wave all the way down her back. Both her parents are stunners so I am expecting her to have a massive 'glow up' in her next year ahead. As you can see by this photo below, she is looking very much like her mama!

Tonka's coat also continues to fill in more and more, if that is at all possible. His mane grows thicker and longer and his curls in all areas swirl, twist and lengthen constantly. His coat alone needs it's own zip code!! and perhaps his own file on my site!

If I could go on and on about him into the night at how much I adore this boy I totally would, but I will spare you, just this once. But truly I am blessed with this boy in every way. His personality melts me daily and his calm demeanor floors me. I have no doubt his pups are going to be just like him and win hearts in families left and right.

LOVED my home visits with so many of you this week! More stories with details that touched me deeply. Calm quiet mamas won over families and Tonka and Neema made sure they entertained for as long as the families would stay.

My job ahead to juggle you all is going to take some creativity and a bit of shuffling, but I am tickled beyond pink to get so many families these exceptional pups that are coming in so near.

It's been a long day so I will leave my update short and straight to the point. Everyone is doing exceptional and loving life. Plenty of fall leaves are being munched up and cool air is being consumed. Brief hot spots up on the spools are of higher value these days. My pack is in unison and I am ready to stride along side them in this next stage ahead!

A busy week of prep is ahead so I hit the ground running!! All my best to you all!
