Enjoying a slower pace

Things begin to slow down and move at a slower, gentler, more peaceful pace. The intensity of wee babes fade away as if it never even happened. In it's place a sense of calm settles in. It feels natural, quiet, and steady—like everything is unfolding in its own time, allowing space for me to breathe, reflect, and giving me a moment to enjoy the stillness. My dogs are harmonious and gentle, bringing a sense of quiet and peace wherever they are. They are at my feet, on my feet or sleeping nearby. With only a small pack of 5 now, life feels more balanced and easygoing, allowing me to truly enjoy the closeness and special bond I share with each of them. Each dog reveals their own personality and demeanor in such a beautiful way, reminding me daily how unique and special they truly are. Their little quirks, mannerisms, and expressions make them special, and together they create a pack full of individuality, love, and joy.

Meiko has settled into her new forever after home where she is already bringing so much joy to her new family. It took her a minute to realize she now had a new leg to lean on and a new set of hands to live on the top of her head. She is now adjusting beautifully and together as a new unit they are finding a balanced rhythm in their day to day life. I am beyond ecstatic for this new connection.

Isla has gracefully stepped into the role of queen of the pack and Leia has happily embraced her place as princess. It's so intriguing to me to watch this dance of role shifts and to feel the energy morph and evolve into something new. Everyone is creating a new place and realizing that their pack has new energy in so many different ways.

Tonka has never been the one to power the pack, and while he may carry the title of King here, he definitely does not embrace it in the traditional sense. Instead, he leads with calm subtlety and gentle grace. He makes his round from one dog to the next, checking in on each one of them, as if to ask who might need a little extra love and attention in that moment. A dog beyond what I could have ever asked for.

Neema has officially completed all her breeding health testing and I am now just waiting on the last 2 certs to come through. Her x-rays look phenomenal so I am expecting these last reports to be nothing short of exceptional. She is beyond structurally beautiful with a wide blocky head and a smile to match. Her personality is calmingly sweet with a dash and splash of goof. Playful but with grace and ease. It is still up in the air on when I will plan to pair her with Tonka and officially put it on the schedule that Neema/Tonka pups will be expected. When this decision takes place I will of course let you all know. For those that would like to get an early 'in' on this pricelessly exceptional litter, contact me now!

Our kid of the pack Anya, is my darling soul healer and she constantly is pulling on my heart strings. I don't know how I have become so lucky to have her part of my life. From as early as 1 wk. old I noticed a special trait in her that was undeniable. She is something special for sure. Her endearing eyes lift up anyone in her presence.

She loves her sister to pieces and lets her know constantly how much she is loved by sitting upon her. It's never in a dominating way but strictly done out of love and admiration for her. I could indeed make a whole album out of photos that I have of this goofy trait she has. She cracks me up!

All the pups that have been in homes for awhile now are all thriving and their families are figuring out the what's, when's, how's and how oftens. They chime in on the group chats often and bounce ideas, suggestions and thoughts off each other daily. I love how they have pulled together to raise these sweet cream puffs as a tight village.

My daughter gifted me a rafting tour right after all the pups went home as she guides on the local rivers. What a great way to celebrate a new chapter for us all.

My youngest daughter is in touch with me always over in Tanzania as she continues her travels across the Serengeti and now making her way into Egypt. My heart is full for her.

I am more than blessed to have you all as part of my extended family. My chapters are sometimes long, thick, edgy, often times frantic and challenging but always are full of passion, love, determination and drive to create more stories for so many more. So as I welcome more and more families all the time into my life I thank you all for your trust, faith and for giving me the opportunity to be part of your world as well.
