***CONFIRMED PREGNANCY***

I hope everyone had a safe, happy, and memorable 4th of July holiday. 

Our pack here found the celebrations a bit of an agitation to say the least. Fireworks have a way of turning even the calmest dogs into a bit of a mess of anxiety on this day.  With plenty of extra love, snuggles, patience, and a little medication to help take the edge off, everyone made it through just fine though. 

We spent much of the afternoon and evening relaxing together inside the house where everyone felt safe and secure. We'd venture outside for a few minutes here and there, but as soon as the fireworks and whatever else they call those illegal bomb like explosions started sounding like they were trying to shatter windows and detach limbs, it was right back inside for another snuggle and some more music cranked up high.  Thankfully, today everyone is back to their happy, hoppy, romping, carefree selves.

Now for the news so many of you have been waiting for..... ***drum roll***.....

Noni Leia has officially been confirmed with her pregnancy!

It is still very early but after looking at enough scans over the years, you begin to recognize exactly what a positive scan looks like—and this one certainly was peanuts in bubbles growing perfectly. We are absolutely over the moon with excitement here and for all the families that get blessed to participate in this early bonus of a litter. 

The weeks ahead will be dedicated to giving Noni the very best care possible of course. She'll receive extra love and attention, premium nutrition, plenty of rest, supervised monitored exercise, and all the love she deserves as she begins this incredible journey towards her very own squishy squashy potatoes!

Tonka sits back with pride glowing and showing off his magnificent curls gloating at how beautiful his offspring will be. I can't wait to see what these 2 produce!

Watching this process unfold never gets old, and I can't wait to share each milestone with you all. This litter marks a special milestone for me, my 20th litter. I've shared smooth sailing,  rough patches,  joys,  hardships,  perfect moments,  losses,  laughter and just about everything in between with you all.  It's been an absolute pleasure to have you all following along with me as we create unforgettable memories, exceptional stories, more chapters,  new love,  fresh starts,  healing moments and patched hearts.

Our SEA OF WHITE Grand Annual Reunion is almost here!

I've heard from so many families who are planning to attend, I do believe it's shaping up to be one of our biggest reunions yet! There is nothing better than seeing puppies from past litters all grown up, thriving, reconnecting with their siblings, and watching everyone enjoy an afternoon together romping in the sunshine and splashing in the river. 

This year we've made it even easier to find us. There will be big bright signs and plenty of red and yellow directional arrows with paw prints leading you right to the gathering spot.

Whether you're a past, current, or future Hoekema Homestead Goldens family member, I truly hope you'll consider joining us. I'd absolutely love to see you there! The forecast is calling for sunshine, wagging tails, happy reunions between siblings AND THEIR MAMAS who will be attending this year! , and what promises to be a spectacular day together.

As we wrap up another memorable week, my heart is bursting full of excitement for what's ahead. We made it safely through the holiday, we have the exciting confirmation that Noni is expecting, and we have one of my favorite days of the entire year just around the corner.

Thank you for following along on this journey and for being such an incredible part of our extended fur flying Family.   I can't wait to celebrate with so many of you next weekend and to share every exciting step of Noni's pregnancy in the weeks ahead.
