The dust from the thick air starts to float down with a heavy sigh, drifting down at last, settling into the welcoming earth with a deep grateful breath. The sand that once flew in every direction, every second of the last 3 weeks is now all slowly and happily adjusting back into place. All the tuffs and fluffs of fur get lovingly washed and brushed out to a sheen. A good boy pat or 2 or 143 to my sweet darling Tonka boy who knew exactly who, when and how often to do his job down to a tee. He's an absolute gem to my program here, steady, sure, confident, intuitive, and exactly where he is meant to be at all and any given moment.

Beneath light-strung trees and under the full moon, the heavens smiled down upon us and magic happened perfectly. Everyone unraveling beautifully from being geared up and wound up around here for weeks. You can almost literally watch the energy loosen it's grip, shake and fall from their coats as one chapter closes, and a new leaf turns over.

We are beyond blessed to have the opportunity to have both Isla and Leia pups now hopefully on the way. Both girls have thrown unbelievably exceptional pups that I couldn't be more proud of today.

Isla with her calm, confident and balanced, content sense of being passes this along to all her pups. Leia with her sweet, comforting, reassuring way of tuning into exactly what you need passes this trait onto each of her pups. And then there's of course our priceless Tonka who brings a blanket of contentment, calmness, a slow steady relaxing state of being. Combined with each of these girls makes for litters ahead that I am over the moon ecstatic about passing along to eagerly awaiting wonderful families that I have the opportunity to work with.

It's been wet around here but the dogs don't bat an eye. Cold you say? Nope, the dogs are yearning for snowflakes. The lingering darkness of our days aren't remotely a concern when there's balls to chase, pack buddies to roll with and bones to chew on into the night. Hot tea gets poured in between ball tosses and music gets turned up just a touch. Neema and Anya chase each other around like long lost friends and make sure no scruff is left untouched. Both girls have stolen my heart and capture it more and more each and everyday. I'm excited for their future but for now, they romp and roll like kids on Christmas morning.

My time that is spared in between my doggie 'play' time is spent cleaning up my property from the massive sheets of wind blowing through recently. No animal fences were harmed and only hundreds, not thousands of pinecones dropped from the heavens just for the dogs (I'm sure) to munch up. Not sure why I spend money on bones when pinecones are gifted over by the bucketfuls around here! My mind fills with past pups which seems like eons ago now. Perfectly plump lightly toasted Isla babes and caramel tinged fat and lovely Leia waddlers. The dog space will get flipped, reorganized, setup and prepped ahead for new spring babes to arrive in the weeks ahead. What a beautiful time of year to invite in new life and start little beings of wonder growing up to join new families in their adventures this summer. By the time these little ones are ready to wiggle on to new homes, rains will be lifting, days will be getting warmer and light will be gracing us with more time each day.

Here's more photos of priceless past Isla pups-

and endless sweetness of gorgeous Leia pups -

I could go on and on for hours pulling up photo after photo of all the amazing moments that I have been honored to have with my pack and these amazing new bundles of joy. Right now we enjoy our 'small' pack without squeaks and squeals but yearning for each and every one. These 2 pregnancies ahead will be confirmed via ultrasound in about 4 wks. I am crossing my fingers and toes for both girls to have nothing but success and smooth and healthy months ahead. I will of course be in contact with all the lucky families on board that I am hopeful will be able to join the 'HAY' litter and the 'BERRY' litter here this Spring. Dear sweet Timothy, Clover and Rye....Gooseberry, Saskatoon, Blackberry and Goji. Can't wait to meet you all! The whole pack here sends out their love to you all as you dream of white glitter flying in every direction 💖
