Frolicking galore is in full bloom around here! Zoomies like mad and well….Let's say.. Annoyingly obsessive attraction is in the air!
Tonka is definitely being my gauge on what is ahead and he is indeed doing a fabulous job and doing exactly what he should be. I am of course LOVING having an onsite stud! Isla has his heart right now and is stuck to her like glue. I have not yet separated them but the obsession is very real and she escapes to the top of the smaller spool often to get away from him. She also tries to hide in the tunnel which is hilarious.
No outward signs of a shift yet but it has got to be soon! Tonka also takes daily assessments of Leia and says she’s close as well but not quite there. She has become more and more clingy these past few days which is another sign of Heat cycles around the corner.
At this rate these girls are going to run into Meiko’s next time frame to have puppies! Yikes you guys…No! ha!
I am fully enjoying the entertainment of this love frolicking and just flat out enjoying them enjoying life. The sunshine has been magnificent and playing for hours is definitely on our agenda constantly. Salads from the garden continue daily which they love. This ‘rabbit’ food has become a staple around here. The sand is getting a workout with high speed chases and the dogs are thoroughly enjoying the game of tag. Leia continues to be the center of this game of tag and chomp on her until she ‘dies’. She plays her part perfectly and ‘dies’ on cue every time she loses. GREAT FUN!
More updates on Health Testing got done and everyone got gold stars across the board. It was a bit hot in the rig but they faired ok. Yes they are in crates this time in the back as I did not have a 2nd pair of hands to help me on this day so the extra measure of safety was taken. They enjoyed the extra love and attention at the clinic of course. Another round of updates next month and we are done with this year… until next year.
