A New Chapter is unfolding

Family, friends, Christmas prep, reconnecting, soggy doggies,  rain, flooding and planning for puppies.  I strain my eyes trying not to blink to avoid missing a moment.  

On a personal note, but intertwined on a business front as well,  my youngest daughter..my right hand girl, has returned home to me after 6 mths of traveling. Tanzania, Egypt, Uganda, Nepal & India gifted her growth, strength,  abundance and experiences far greater than any other life moment could have presented her with. My heart is with my 4 daughters no matter where they are at,  but now as Christmas is upon us my mama heart just feels a bit more complete in this moment.

Rains rolled in this week in thick sheets, swelling our local rivers, threatening homes,  lives,  pathways and more. I squeezed my dogs a bit tighter despite them being a bit more soggy than usual, thanking the heavens for safety and the care free nature in each one of my dogs. They look up into the relentless loom of the clouds and quietly,  softly waltz into the thick of it as if it's another day on this beautiful earth.  

The water level rose and we indeed got flooded in. My family was safe and out of harms way. My animals were tucked in warm and dry content as ever.  I watched my daughter's flight.. then the river levels and back again.  Mother nature relented, receded and allowed me to go pick up my daughter as she flew in for the last time this year.  

I send out endless gratitude to my extended fur flying family.  We are more than puppy families coming together around here,  we are family,  we are friends,  connections,  a place of extension, safety and a place to call home away from home.  One of my dear puppy families opened up their family home in India to my daughter to stay with with them to help her find comfort and security as she closed her last chapter for this years travels.  They assisted,  guided,  lead and created a loving space for her as she transitioned from solo travel into flying home to reconnect after so many months. 

So thank you,  thank you to this specific family but to all my wonderful puppy families for opening up your hearts, home, lives, hopes and dreams as you not only take a bundle of white fluffy love home but so much more.  

Speaking of bringing home new bundles of joy.... a new chapter has opened up and we start sketching out what the next few months ahead will entail.  

Isla has indeed shifted and forges the path of what's ahead for so many.  

Steps of what's to be put into place get planned,  laid out, and carefully constructed to have the path ahead go as smoothly as possible.  

Tonka assesses and lets me know before any other signs are upon us that hormones have shifted and the next chapter of excitement has indeed started. 

Tonka and Isla pups from their previous litters are drop dead gorgeous with the calmest sweetest demeanors around. 

I cannot wait to welcome into this world a whole new batch of Isla/Tonka pups.  

I carefully plan with dedicated intention each pairing to maximize the potential of a healthy,  successful outcome. If everything goes as planned.....

Tentative dates for this litter-

Estimated arrival - Feb. 26th

Estimated go home weekend - April 25-26th. 

This litter of pups will be offered 1st to my families upon reservation date in once pups are safely earth side. Look at your calendars and think about if this timing works out for you and your family. Feel free to contact me directly to see what the availability is like depending on where you sit on my master list. Every family has the freedom to opt in or defer out to my next litter if you so choose. Leia and Neema have not yet shifted, so I continue to cross my fingers that they will delay a couple of months from here to be able to bring some summer pups to a few families hoping for pups a bit later in the year.
